KIBIR Consultants leads discussions and trainings on work-as-worship, basicfunctions of Kingdom business (marketing, sales, accounting etc.), and ourunderstanding of marketplace discipleship (business, government, education, etc.) where the Church is scattered Monday-Saturday.
God established a world economy from the beginning (Gen. 1-2) designed to employ and engage His children in the blessing of work. KIBIR Consultants aims to increase the number of God’s people creating jobs for others who need them in the Ethiopian marketplace.
God’s Kingdom values multiplication and abundance. As children made in Hisimage, we are innovators and creative developers and wealth creators. KIBIR Consultants understands that as Christians fulfilling the works God has preparedfor them, real market-value is created, and total “injera” increases for all.
We are called to give freely as we have been given. Giving produces a gratefulness and expresses the heart of God who gives exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we ask or think (Eph. 3:20-21). KIBIR Consultants works alongside the Ethiopian church to see the blessings of creating profits used to help those in need and further the church’s mission.

While the importance of the church gathering is clear in scripture (Heb. 10:25) we believe that this setting should primarily be used for engaging and equipping. As a seed germinates and takes root below the soil, this significant work goes unseen by the rest of the world. Put another way, we value the time that a farmer takes to sharpen their axe at the start of the day, however this “re-tooling” or equipping occurs for the work cutting that he has originally set out to do (Eph. 4:11-12).
This is where 95% of the church spends a majority of their time on a weekly basis, and it is the part of the Church that the world sees. We want to encourage and expand the work that followers of Christ are doing in their circles of influence. Where they express truth in love as normal as salt giving food flavor or a candle giving light to the world around it (Mat. 5:13-16).
KIBIR Consultants desires to see restoration of the Ethiopian marketplace. As of 2017 Transparency International has Ethiopia’s Corruption Perceptions Index rank at 107 out of 180 countries. We want to set the standard of what Biblically-based business looks like in the Ethiopia, influencing the entire nation to move it’s perceived corruption level into the top 10 least-corrupt markets in the world by 2038.
